Mission

The Central Territory Museum provides context and relevance for The Salvation Army’s spiritual, theological, chronological, and global activities for The Salvation Army and general public.  It collects, preserves, researches, educates, and exhibits materials that reflect the development, ministry, and social work of the Central Territory and its place within The Salvation Army.

The museum collects those items which relate to its mission and which it can use for exhibition, education, or the documentation of other objects in the collection, and those items for which it can provide an appropriate level of care.

The museum is always seeking donations to the collection. Please call or email us if you have any items you would like to donate.

Employment

Summer collections management intern – The intern will learn and complete steps for processing incoming donations and photographing/digitizing, storing, and cataloging accessioned materials.

Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for a total of 362.5 hours of work within 90 calendar days of start date. Workday is 7.25 hours long with 45-minute unpaid lunch break. This is an on-site position.
